WhiteThe VXE Dragonfly R1 Series is engineered for esports enthusiasts who demand speed, precision, and reliability. Featuring an ergonomic symmetrical shape, lightweight construction, and tri-mode connectivity, the R1 Series offers exceptional control for FPS and competitive gaming. Powered by advanced PixArt sensors, Nordic/BEKEN MCUs (model dependent), and support for up to 4000Hz polling rate, it delivers responsive tracking and smooth wireless performance while maintaining long battery life.
Highlights
- Five-Model Spectrum: The series caters to all budgets, ranging from entry-level (R1 NearLink, R1 SE PLUS, R1) to high-performance esports models (R1 PRO, R1 PRO MAX).
- Optimized "Palm-Filling" Shape: Designed with dimensions of 120.6mm x 64mm, the shape is specifically engineered to fill the palm, making it ideal for Claw and Palm grips rather than fingertip styles.
- Significant Weight Variance: The series remains lightweight across the board, but the R1 PRO is the lightest at 48g, while the larger battery models (SE+, PRO MAX, NearLink) sit between 53g and 55g.
- Sensor Segmentation: Budget (NearLink / SE+): Uses the PAW 3395 SE (18k DPI, 400 IPS). Performance (R1 / PRO / MAX): Uses the flagship PAW 3395 (26k DPI, 650 IPS) for pixel-perfect tracking.
- The "Nordic" Advantage: Only the R1 PRO and PRO MAX feature the premium Nordic 52840 microcontroller, which is essential for stable 4K polling and lower latency. The other models use BEKEN or HiSilicon chips.
- Polling Rate Compatibility: SE+ / R1: Supports up to 2000Hz (2K). PRO / PRO MAX: Supports up to 4000Hz (4K). Note: All models come with a Standard 1K Receiver out of the box.
- Coating Hierarchy: The R1, SE+, and NearLink feature a standard matte texture, whereas the PRO and PRO MAX utilize a premium Smooth Ice-Feeling Coating for better grip and dirt resistance.
- Connectivity Trade-off: The lower-tier models (SE+, R1, NearLink) offer Tri-Mode connectivity (including Bluetooth). Uniquely, the high-end PRO and PRO MAX drop Bluetooth to focus strictly on Wired/2.4G performance
- Battery Strategy: R1 PRO MAX / NearLink: Massive longevity (150 Hours) with 500mAh+ batteries. R1: Sacrifices battery for weight (250mAh, 40 Hours). R1 PRO: Balanced performance (250mAh, 75 Hours thanks to Nordic efficiency).
- Switch Feel: The entry models use Huanuo switches (Soft bounce), while the PRO series uses Kailh White Blade switches, known for a crisp, balanced click and a 100-million click lifespan.
